Baby and Child First Aid – 2 hour course

  • suitable for parents, parents, parents-to-be, grandparents, friends, family, NCT groups, babysitters and anyone else who looks after your child
  • award winning 2 hour course
  • fun and practical
  • hands on training
  • includes training for burns, bleeding, fevers, choking, resuscitation, Meningitis, CPR and much more – see a list of all topics covered here

Cost of class – £35 per person 

We can come to your home or you can join us at a local venue. Alternatively, we are running ‘venue’ and ‘home classes’ via Zoom.

Baby and Child First Aid – 1 hour classes

1 hour Baby Essentials class 

This 1 hour class is perfect for anyone that is expecting or recently had a baby and wants to learn just the basic life saving skills of:

Paediatric First Aid (12 hour)

Emergency Paediatric First Aid (6 hour )

These certificates are suitable for childcare professionals and school staff, providing the assessed Level 3 Paediatric First Aid Certificate which meets Ofsted requirements.

12 hour blended PFA: £90 per person (+VAT)

6 hour Emergency PFA: £75 per person (+VAT)

Our courses are for up to 12 people and cost £90 (+VAT) per trainee with a minimum spend of £270 (+VAT) required.

Group offer – We can offer courses for between 8-12 trainees at £720 (+VAT) fixed rate.  

6 hours Emergency PFA:

Our courses are for up to 12 people and cost £75 (+VAT) per trainee with a minimum spend of £225 (+VAT) required.

Group offer – We can offer courses for between 8-12 trainees at £600 (+VAT) fixed rate.

Meet the team

I’m Hannah and I’m the owner and one of the trainers at Daisy First Aid Hertfordshire, Enfield & Barnet. I am a mum to three young children, a 5 year old called Lottie, a toddler called Emmie and a 1 year old called Ralphy. I have 16 years of experience in teaching and training and am qualified in Paediatric First Aid.

When looking after other people’s children during my time as a teacher, especially when out and about on school trips and residentials, it was always important to me to be able to administer first aid quickly and calmly. When I became a first time mum, the worries of being in charge of a little person led me to take a baby and child First Aid class. It taught me what to do in the very minor situations of bumps and scrapes (of which my energetic toddler has many) through to the more worrying emergency situations. It is now a pleasure to be able to help other parents have the first aid knowledge and confidence to deal with accidents if they do occur!

I have an amazing team of trainers who also work with me – Daisy, Abbie, Lynsay, Shez, Lauren and Justin. All my trainers are qualified in Paediatric First Aid and we all share a passion for teaching. Head over to my Instagram page to find out more about my team.
