This multi award winning family first aid class is suited to anyone who would like to have basic first aid and emergency life saver training. The class focuses on babies and children – from newborn to 18 years old, and also includes relevant adult first aid information making it suitable for everyone,
This 2 hour class is perfect for anyone that has a baby or child and wants to learn some basic first aid skills without being overwhelmed with technical information. Whether you are a parent, grandparent, babysitter or carer, this training can benefit everyone.
The session empowers parents/grandparents and carers and gives you the confidence to act fast in an emergency.
The class is £30 per person.
What you will learn:
Our family and carer classes teach you how to deal with an accident or emergency involving babies and children, including;
- Treatment of an unconscious casualty
- Baby and Child Recovery Positions
- Shock, Baby and Child Resuscitation & CPR
- Baby and Child Choking
- Head injuries, Fever, Febrile Seizures
- Bleeding, Burns, Fractures, Anaphylaxis
- Meningitis & Other Childhood Conditions
The class is accredited by the CPD Standards Office and certificates are available upon request.
Daisy First Aid books and first aid kits are available to purchase from your trainer – ask in class for details.
Additional Information:
- Babies under 12 months are very welcome to join you in this relaxed class
